STAT+: Third Rock Ventures plots next chapter after raising $1.1 billion fund
Third Rock Ventures has raised $1.1 billion for its largest-ever fund, the biotech venture capital firm announced Wednesday.
Third Rock, with offices in Boston and San Francisco, has been an institutional investor in the drug industry. Since 2007, it has invested in more than 60 companies, including gene-editing startup Editas Medicine and cancer diagnostic firm Thrive Earlier Detection Corp.
