19 Weeks Pregnant
You’re almost halfway through your pregnancy, which is an exciting milestone. However, it’s usual to feel a little nervous at this point, as you comprehend the reality of your developing baby and start to think about caring for them after they are born. Writing down your thoughts as they come to you and discussing them with your partner can be a way to prevent you from feeling overwhelmed. This way, you can share the mental load and reach decisions together.

How your baby is growing when 19 Weeks Pregnant?
Your baby is now 15cm long and weighs about 260gm. Their sleeping habits now mimic that of a newborn. They are awake for about six hours of the day and sleep for the other 18. It’s during these waking periods that you should feel them kicking.
What You May Feel
At this time, there are many changes to your body. You may find you need to buy more comfortable shoes, as the extra fluid in your body can cause your feet to swell. In addition to your growing bump, you develop curves to support your baby, which means you require looser fitting or maternity clothes to accommodate your changing shape. These changes may leave some women feeling a little disheartened, but do remember it is a normal part of pregnancy.
Tips when you are 19 Weeks Pregnant
Many women can lose their sexual desire during pregnancy, which is normal. However, what is essential is to make sure you speak to your partner about how you feel. They may be unaware of what is happening, and it can leave some partners feeling rejected. However, an open conversation can help you move past this, and once your baby is born, you can work towards rekindling your sexual relationship.
