15 Weeks Pregnant
By now, you might be wondering about the rumoured “pregnancy glow” and when you can expect to experience it. Your body is now circulating 20% more blood than usual, which also means more blood vessels, which creates a “flushed’ look”. Combined with extra hormones that cause your skin to secrete more oil, you may have a shiny, rosy glow.

How your baby is growing when 15 Weeks Pregnant?
Your baby now measures 9.5cm and weighs about 80gm, and their body is growing faster than its head. A fine covering of hair, which is called lanugo, is starting to cover your baby’s entire body. Babies shed the lanugo before their birth, at around seven or eight months of pregnancy, but sometimes it can still be there when the baby is born.
What You May Feel
Along with the pregnancy glow that you might be experiencing, you may also enjoy thicker hair and faster-growing nails. However, the extra blood volume can cause less desirable side effects, for example, low blood pressure, nose and gum bleeds and headaches. If you need pain relief options during your pregnancy, make sure you discuss any medication with your midwife or doctor before taking anything.
Tips when you are 15 Weeks Pregnant
Many parents-to-be spend plenty of time reading about pregnancy and maybe not so much time considering when the baby’s arrival. So now is a great time to do some research on parenting websites or books that could help. This knowledge may give you some knowledge, practical skills and confidence in your parenting. It is also a great way to open a discussion with your partner about your chosen parenting style and the way you both want to parent once the baby arrives.
