Operation Warp Speed’s Moncef Slaoui will stay on as a consultant for Biden
WASHINGTON — Moncef Slaoui, the controversial head of Operation Warp Speed, will serve as a consultant in the Biden administration, he confirmed Wednesday. He suggested it would be a less active role than his current position, as the initiative’s chief advisor.
“I will continue to support as needed, I think we are getting close to the point where my value add is more limited and therefore I‘ll expect my activity to decrease gradually after January 21st,” Slaoui told STAT Wednesday during a briefing with reporters.
