Public health experts grow frustrated with pace of Covid-19 vaccine rollout

WASHINGTON — Some public health experts are expressing mounting frustration with the pace of the Covid-19 vaccine rollout, which they say is behind where it needed to be in its crucial first weeks.

The Trump administration has shipped more than 11 million doses of the two available Covid-19 vaccines, but just over 2.1 million people nationwide have received a shot since vaccinations began December 14, according to data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
