India: Migrant workers’ plight prompts UN call for ‘domestic solidarity’ in coronavirus battle
Pervasive challenges remain for hundreds-of-thousands of migrant workers in India whose lives were upended by the sudden lockdown across the country, in response to the threat of the coronavirus pandemic, said the UN human rights office, OHCHR, on Thursday.
