And so, another working week will soon draw to a close. Not a moment too soon, yes? This is, you may recall, our treasured signal to daydream about weekend plans. Our agenda, as you might guess, is rather limited. We plan to stay home and catch up on our reading, indulge in a little binge-watching on the telly and otherwise take stock of  the world. And what about you? This is a good time to review your plans for remaining healthy. Perhaps you can reach out to those who may be most vulnerable, such as the elderly, to see how they are doing. Dozens of drug makers are scrambling to develop vaccines that could prevent people from contracting the new coronavirus, or therapies to treat people infected with the respiratory disease it causes, The Wall Street Journal tells us. Testing of several potential drugs and vaccines has already started, and more trials are in the works. Additional studies could follow if researchers find that products approved for other uses, or even ones they discarded, show promise in their labs tackling the virus.
