Study Suggests Spiders Use Bright Yellow Orbs To Lure Their Meals

It’s common knowledge that besides using them as their homes, spiders also use the webs they make in order to catch their prey. But how to even lure the prey in the first place? A study suggests that orb weaver spiders found a solution to this: by sporting yellowish spots or stripes on their undersides that fool bees and flies.
