Longreach Hospital is located at Jabiru St, Longreach QLD 4730. The maternity has different maternity service offerings available. They have Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Maternity Services, access to mental health services during or after your pregnancy, access to physiotherapy, a new parents’ group, and they have available home visiting services after delivery. Additionally, Longreach is known to be a family-friendly hospital and is accredited as a Baby Friendly Health Initiative (BFHI) facility.

The hospital model of maternity care includes combined care, GP obstetrician care, remote area midwifery care, team midwifery care, shared care, and midwifery group practice (MGP) caseload care. Also, if your pregnancy is complicated, high-risk maternity care is available.
