The hospital’s maternity services included physiotherapy, antenatal and information classes, specialists supporting postnatal mental health, and lactation advice and support to parents struggling with breastfeeding their baby.
The hospital has water birth and allows women to have water immersion during their labour. Their model of maternity care includes GP Obstetrician care, Midwifery Group Practice (MGP) caseload care, and shared care. After your birth, they encourage immediate skin to skin contact between mother and infant.
