Alder Hey Children’s Hospital gets new mental health unit

Sunflower House, which will treat the most challenging mental health conditions, has 12 specially designed bedrooms, a therapy garden, a sensory room, an immersive room, a destimulation room, a safe kitchen environment, group therapy rooms, and classrooms.The unit’s specialist spaces were created with £3m raised by Alder Hey’s charity, the 7 in 10 Appeal.
