Covid-19: WHO declares end of global health emergency

The World Health Organization has declared that covid-19 is no longer a “global health emergency” while emphasising that it remains a global health threat.1On 30 January 2020 WHO declared a public health emergency of international concern over the global outbreak of covid-192 and since then 7 million deaths have been reported to the organisation.
