Hard work was rewarded with hill walking, canoeing trips, visits to the pub, and supper parties hosted by Paul and his wife, Rosemary.Paul was one of the last general surgeons who could do almost everything surgically but latterly specialised in colorectal surgery and urology. He introduced the colonoscope to Worcestershire.He served his time as surgical tutor and chair of the staff committee and Worcestershire BMA.He is survived by his first wife, Ann, and their two daughters; his second wife, Rosemary, and their two daughters; and seven grandchildren.
