Gaza: WHO describes “sickening scenes” in hospital as Israeli military intensifies activity

The World Health Organization has described the harrowing scenes unfolding at Al Aqsa Hospital—the only functioning hospital in the governorate of Deir al Balah in central Gaza—as medical aid organisations say they were forced to pull out staff amid evacuation orders by the Israeli military.WHO visited the hospital on 7 January.
