GP who was jailed over climate change protests is suspended for three months
A retired GP has been suspended from the UK medical register for three months for her part in non-violent protests over climate change.Diana Warner, who practised at various surgeries in the Bristol area from 1989 until her retirement in 2019, is a member of the action group Insulate Britain, which accuses the UK government of failing to act on the threats to health posed by climate change.She was jailed first for two months and later for another 30 days for twice breaching a High Court injunction banning protestors from disrupting traffic on the M25 in 2021.
