Emma Veronica Jane Edmonds

She went to St Paul’s School for Girls, and was very proud of her Paulina pedigree. She spent a year at Strasbourg University before going to St George’s to read medicine. She completed a bachelors in psychology at UCL in 1995 and qualified in 1998.After gaining membership of the Royal Colleges of Physicians in 2001 Emma began her career in dermatology, training as a senior house officer at St John’s Institute of Dermatology and then as a registrar at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital (CWH) and University College London Hospitals (UCLH) from 2002 to 2008. During her time at CWH she undertook important work on male genital lichen sclerosus and the role of urine in its pathogenesis, publishing four papers.
