The locum GP Jane Lees-Millais has told The BMJ that she has received “literally hundreds of messages of support” from fellow GPs since she confronted the prime minister about the state of the NHS during a live televised campaign speech earlier this month.As Rishi Sunak told Tory members in Wiltshire on 7 June that the UK was “on the right track” with 4000 new doctors coming into the health service, Lees-Millais shouted out, “But the NHS is disintegrating.
