CQC demands urgent improvements at Brighton based trust as ratings are lowered
Culture and leadership problems still exist at a Brighton based NHS trust and must be tackled urgently, says the Care Quality Commission (CQC), which has lowered its ratings on most of the trust’s surgical performance.In four reports1234 the regulator said that it was seeking action “at a much more urgent pace” after its inspections carried out last August at four sites of the University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust, which looked at surgical and medical services.
