I’m in my mid 30s and have been taking antipsychotic medication for schizophrenia for more than 10 years. When someone is first prescribed an antipsychotic, they are likely to be having a tricky time and potentially in the strange new environment of a hospital ward, which means they may not always remember initial conversations clinicians had with them about side effects.
