NICE publishes two potential new QOF indicators for inclusion in GP contract

The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) has published two draft indicators1—for atrial fibrillation and for people with severe mental illness—that could be included in the 2023-24 Quality and Outcomes Framework (QOF).The first potential indicator, anticoagulants for people with atrial fibrillation and an increased risk of stroke, is an update to an existing QOF indicator.
