Radiologist who forged timesheets to get paid early a decade ago is suspended for six months

A vascular radiologist who forged timesheets 10 years ago to get his pay early, but was found not guilty of fraud by a Crown Court, has been suspended from the UK medical register for six months after admitting dishonesty to a medical practitioners tribunal.Luke Morgan-Rowe, 39, was charged by police in 2015, and arrested at work. But the Crown Prosecution Service offered no evidence against him at his trial the following year, leading to an automatic verdict of not guilty.Following that verdict, the General Medical Council began investigating his false timesheets, which dated from June 2012 to February 2013. They claimed overtime hours at the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust, where he was a research fellow in the complex aorta treatment team.
