Opinion: Routine testing is essential to combat Covid-19 surges
As the latest surge in Covid-19 cases pushes cases and deaths higher — nearly 18 million cases to date and nearly 320,000 deaths — the U.S. is entering a dangerous and deadly phase of this pandemic.
With the hope and promise of a vaccine just around the corner, it is imperative for our nation’s health care system that we stem this tide until Covid-19 vaccines can be rolled out to all Americans.
