Top Republican blasts McConnell for derailing bipartisan drug pricing bill
WASHINGTON — Sens. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) and Ron Wyden (D-Ore.), the bipartisan duo behind the Senate’s leading drug pricing proposal, both accused Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell of sabotaging their progress on that package Wednesday.
The remarks are especially surprising from Grassley, one of the Senate’s highest-ranking Republicans.
