Multiple papules around the corona of the glans penis

A man in his 20s presented with a two year history of numerous painless tiny papules on the glans penis. The number of these non-itchy papules had gradually increased over the first year and then stabilised. The patient was healthy and did not report any history of sexually transmitted infections or high risk sexual behaviour. Physical examination showed multiple pink or white papules 1-3 mm in diameter around the coronal rim of the glans penis (fig 1). A grape-like or cobblestone pattern was seem on dermoscopy, with each pink or white lesion containing a central vascular structure surrounded by crescent-shaped rims (fig 2).bmj;381/may25_4/e074756/F1F1f1Fig 1Multiple pink papules around the coronal rim of the glans penisbmj;381/may25_4/e074756/F2F2f2Fig 2Dermoscopy showing a grape-like or cobblestone patternQuestionsWhat are the differential diagnoses? What is the most likely diagnosis? How should this condition be managed?Answers1.What are the differential diagnoses?Differential diagnoses include pearly penile papules, condyloma acuminata, Tyson’s glands, and molluscum…
