Trump: Despite U.S. case, China virus is ‘under control’
WASHINGTON — President Trump on Wednesday downplayed concerns surrounding an infectious disease outbreak in China that has alarmed U.S. health officials, particularly after yesterday’s announcement of the first documented case on American soil.
“It’s one person coming in from China,” Trump said in Davos, Switzerland, during an appearance on CNBC. “We have it under control. It’s going to be just fine.”
